On Tuesday, Feb. 2nd 2021, Jacqueline (Jackie) Wilson Wood, loving mother, grandmother, & great grandmother passed away at the age of 93 in Pensacola, FL. Jackie was born October 18th, 1927 in Vevay, Indiana to Lewis Wilson & Viola (Gatewood) Wilson. Jackie received her degree in microbiology from the university of Louisville and masters from Spalding University. She worked at Norton children’s hospital in Louisville, KY for most of her career. Jackie will be remembered for her love of family, art, entertaining, food, and travel. She was known for her quick wit, sharp mind, infectious smile, and kind spirit. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Lewis & Viola Wilson, her brother Robert Wilson, & sister Elizabeth Riddell. She is deeply missed by her daughter Sarah Kolter, her 4 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.
