Robert Stephen Sande, age 75, passed away July 5, 2017. He was born on February 17, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York to Harry A. and Evelyn (Deliso) Sande. Robert joined the Army in 1965 and was an Arctic Trooper and a Vietnam veteran. He was a devoted loving husband to Carolyn Sande for 40 years. He enjoyed boating, camping, and spending time with his family. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Evelyn Sande; grandson, Anthony Vaughn, and two sisters; Diane and Joan. He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Sande. He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, neighbor, and friend. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home from 3-4 pm with a memorial service to follow at 4 pm. Harry David Travis will be officiating with music performed by Sandy McDaniel. Oak Lawn Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
