Elizabeth Lumpkin
Elizabeth Williams Lumpkin, 86, passed away Thursday the 27th of July at Solaris Healthcare Center. Born December 13, 1930, she was a native and lifetime resident of Pensacola. Elizabeth was a graduate of Pensacola High School, class of 1948. She was an active member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church, volunteering countless hours in the church clothing room and library. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Throughout her life she was active in several organizations including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Angel Tree and her neighborhood watch. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Michael (Cynthia) Lumpkin, her daughter, Nancy (Steve) Raus, 3 grandchildren; Justin Redick, Lisa Raus, and Tom Lumpkin, 2 great grandsons; Gavyn and Nolan Redick, sister; Faye Moran, brother; Phil Williams and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Millard Lumpkin, parents; Mallory & Doris Williams, 4 sisters, Juanita Huelsbeck, Velma Wilson, Maxine Vendetti, and Dorothy White. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Services will be Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 10:30 am at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with burial to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Lee, Tony Vendetti, Percy McBride, and Bradley Richardson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Labarron Mollory and Demontray Newbold. Oak Lawn Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
